The People
Dr. Brain Murphy
A brilliant, hard-drinking and all but insufferable Boston psychiatrist. His unique name was the result of a spelling error on his birth certificate; his parents elected to let it stand. An outstanding amateur musician, Murphy could have easily made a career as a concert pianist, but chose to devote his life to helping the mentally challenged.
Hunk Sunday
A hulking figure at 6'3" and nearly 250 pounds, he's also the proprietor of a successful Harley-Davidson dealership. He sold Dr. Murphy his first customized Harley hog and they soon became fast friends. Although clearly not in the same league with Dr. Murphy (who'd be the first to agree), Hunk earned Murphy's admiration through his uncanny business sense and an almost encyclopedic knowledge of classical music for the piano.
The Androids
A very familiar duo created by a super-advanced extraterrestrial civilization to "manage" backward worlds.
The Opposition
Belligerents in a cosmic game of chess bent on adding Earth to their list of interstellar conquests.
The Ordeal
With the Opposition in hot pursuit, Hunk and Dr. Murphy race against time from Boston, become entangled with jewel thieves in Paris and are treated to a hero's welcome at Dulles International Airport. Their quest leads them to the American west, where they hope to come face-to-face with the shadowy figure calling himself The Facsimile Man--and the key to their survival.
